Befriended pooch

In Nepal, animals coexist with humans in ways rarely seen in the United States. Cows, goats, chickens, and even monkeys wander the streets of cities and rural areas alike. Dogs, too, maintain a visible presence. Unlike the U.S., however, they often do not appear to have owners. This guy approached us on the trail outside of one of the villages. We said a few nice words to him and petted him for a bit and he followed us around the rest of the afternoon.
