Subject: AIDS Ride Update: Here I go!

Greetings, friends and family!

Team Seekers leaves Wednesday morning at 8:00 am sharp to caravan down to Raliegh. I am nervous and excited in anticipation of "Day Zero." It will be great to finally be there, experiencing the throngs of like-minded AIDS riders. Word is we will have around 2500 riders this year!

Our team ended up raising over $15,000 and riding over 6000 miles in preparation! I raised (thanks to all of you!) around $2200. I rode just over 1000 miles in training since late February. I'm in the best biking shape of my life; I'm as ready as I can be!

I just wanted to thank you all one last time before I left. Your support and encouragement have meant the world to me!

For anyone who will be in the DC area this Sunday, the closing ceremonies will take place at 2:00 pm near the Washington Monument. I'd love to see you there! We'll be gathering under the "S" for Seekers.

Thanks for everything! I'll write again with a full report when I return!

Much love,
-Andrew
